Website design & development for Maine businesses.

Make your services easy to understand and give customers a clear next step. Plan a new website, improve your existing site, or arrange ongoing management.

What we can cover

A clear website.
A useful next step for your customers.

Start with the people you want to reach and the action you want them to take. We plan your service pages, navigation, content, and contact paths before building a website that fits your business.

Discuss your requirements
  • A page and navigation plan built around your services and customer questions
  • Responsive page design and development for desktop and mobile browsers
  • Contact forms and booking connections within the agreed project scope
  • Migration or editing of the content and images approved for the project
  • Search-friendly headings, page titles, internal links, and performance planning
  • A launch and handoff plan covering hosting, domains, accounts, and renewals

Explain what you do

Organize services, answers, and contact details so visitors can decide whether your business can help.

Give visitors a clear path

Make the next step visible, whether that is calling, sending a request, or choosing an appointment.

Keep the site useful

Agree who will update information and maintain the site after launch, with a management or handoff plan.

Cost & timing

What affects a website quote?

A focused service website and a larger content or booking site involve different work. We define the pages, features, content responsibilities, and launch requirements before preparing a quote.

Pages & content

The number and types of pages, copywriting or editing, image preparation, and migration from your existing platform.

Features & connections

Forms, booking tools, content management, third-party connections, and any special interaction or accessibility requirements.

Launch & upkeep

Hosting, domain renewals, paid plugins or tools, content updates, and the level of ongoing website management.

Planning the timing

Content readiness, access to the current site, the agreed features, and review decisions affect the schedule. We agree on milestones after discovery and plan the domain, DNS, and email dependencies before a change goes live.

How the work moves

Clear steps.
Shared expectations.

  1. Plan the pages

Identify your customers, services, key questions, and the action each page should support.

  2. Agree on the design & scope

Confirm the page list, content responsibilities, features, costs, and review milestones.

  3. Build & test

Review the working site, test forms and navigation, and check the agreed desktop and mobile experience.

  4. Launch & maintain

Agree on account and renewal responsibilities, coordinate the launch, then hand the site over to your team or begin ongoing support.

Before the first conversation

Start with your business.
Bring the content you have.

An existing site and a short list of priorities are enough for an initial discussion. We can identify missing content and access during planning.

  • Your business goals, services, audience, and preferred customer action
  • Your current website, domain registrar, hosting platform, and email provider
  • Available branding, copy, photos, and permission to use those materials
  • Booking, forms, or business tools that should connect to the website
  • Your target launch date, budget range, and person responsible for feedback

Please leave passwords and access codes out of the contact form. We arrange any account access securely when needed.

Support & responsibilities

Know who manages the site after launch.

We identify who handles page changes, updates, monitoring, backups, hosting, domains, and renewals. The proposal defines the files, accounts, training or documentation, and support included, along with any platform or license restrictions. You can discuss ongoing NexGen management or a planned handoff.

Before we get started

Good questions. Clear answers.

Can you redesign our existing website?

We review the current platform, source files, content, and access before recommending improvements or a rebuild. What can be reused depends on the platform and licensing.

Can you use a website we have already created?

We can assess your source files or export and explain what is needed to test, host, and maintain it. A ZIP file may contain a finished static site or source that still needs a build; we confirm that before proposing the launch.

Are a domain and hosting included?

The proposal identifies hosting and domain arrangements, provider charges, billing, renewal responsibilities, and account access. Those recurring costs are discussed separately from the build where appropriate.

Will changing the website affect our email?

Website hosting and email can be handled separately. We review the existing domain and DNS dependencies and plan the changes needed for the website while accounting for email records.

How much does a website cost and how long does it take?

The quote and milestones depend on pages, features, content, migration, access, and support needs. We agree on the scope first and review the effect of changes before proceeding.

What if we need customer logins or complex workflows?

A simple form or booking connection may fit a website project. Customer accounts, permissions, operational dashboards, or custom processes may need a separate business application scope. Explore our custom app development service.
