Managed IT services & support for Maine businesses.

Monitoring, maintenance, Microsoft 365, and help desk support, with clear responsibilities and coverage built around your business.

What we can cover

Keep everyday work moving.
Know who to call when it doesn’t.

A managed IT plan gives your team a clear point of contact for the systems they depend on. We review your users, devices, business applications, and existing providers, then agree which responsibilities NexGen will manage and where your team or other vendors remain involved.

Discuss your requirements
  • Endpoint and server monitoring, maintenance, and patch management for covered systems
  • Remote help desk assistance and coordinated on-site support within the agreed coverage
  • Microsoft 365 administration and cloud-service management
  • Endpoint security, email protection, and access-control planning
  • Vendor coordination, equipment lifecycle planning, and a practical improvement roadmap
  • Incident assessment and recovery coordination within the agreed service scope

Support for your people

Give staff a consistent way to report problems and get help from a team familiar with your environment.

Care for your systems

Coordinate patching, review system health, and address developing issues as part of your agreed maintenance plan.

A plan for what comes next

Identify aging equipment, security priorities, and upcoming changes so decisions can be planned instead of rushed.

Cost & timing

A service plan shaped around your environment.

Managed IT pricing depends on what you need covered. We review the environment before recommending a plan and explain the difference between recurring support, provider subscriptions, equipment, and separately scoped project work.

People & systems

The number of users, devices, servers, locations, and business-critical applications, plus their condition and complexity.

Coverage & responsibilities

The support hours, remote and on-site needs, monitoring, security tools, escalation arrangements, and responsibilities included.

Existing setup & changes

Initial cleanup, migration, licensing, equipment replacement, and projects such as a new network or office move.

Planning the timing

Onboarding depends on the systems, documentation, permissions, and any remedial work needed. We agree on priorities, the transition steps, and when each responsibility moves into the service plan. Support hours, response expectations, and after-hours arrangements are defined in the agreement.

How the work moves

Clear steps.
Shared expectations.

  1. Understand your environment

Review your people, sites, devices, Microsoft 365, key applications, current providers, and the problems affecting everyday work.

  2. Define the service plan

Agree on covered systems, support channels, hours, responsibilities, costs, escalation contacts, and any initial work needed.

  3. Onboard in a planned order

Arrange access securely, document the environment, coordinate the provider handoff, and introduce your team to the support process.

  4. Support & improve

Maintain covered systems, handle support requests, and review priorities as your equipment, risks, and business needs change.

Before the first conversation

Start with an overview.
We’ll work through the rest.

You do not need a perfect asset list to begin. The basics help us understand the environment and prepare the right questions.

  • Approximate staff and device counts, office locations, and remote-working needs
  • Your main business applications, email platform, servers, and network setup
  • Your current IT provider or internal team and who handles each responsibility
  • Recurring problems, business-critical systems, and upcoming changes
  • Existing support agreements, renewal dates, and any documentation you can share

Please leave passwords and access codes out of the contact form. We arrange any account access securely when needed.

Support & responsibilities

Clear coverage. Fewer assumptions.

Your service plan defines how staff request help, which systems are covered, and how urgent issues are escalated. We agree who manages licenses, vendor accounts, renewals, backups, and recovery responsibilities. Equipment purchases, migrations, major installations, and changes outside the plan are reviewed and quoted separately where needed.

Before we get started

Good questions. Clear answers.

What does a managed IT provider do?

An MSP manages the agreed parts of your technology environment, such as monitoring, maintenance, security tools, and user support. The service plan identifies covered systems, responsibilities, support channels, and coverage.

Can you work with our existing IT team or provider?

Yes. We can discuss a scope that complements your internal team or plan a handoff from an existing provider. Responsibilities, access, documentation, and transition timing are agreed before the change.

Is support remote or on site?

We discuss which work can be handled remotely and when a site visit may be needed. On-site coverage, travel arrangements, and any additional charges are defined in the service plan. See our service areas for our Maine coverage.

Do we get 24/7 help desk support?

Help desk hours, monitoring, after-hours response, and emergency escalation are separate parts of the service discussion. We define the coverage and response expectations in your agreement; monitoring does not automatically mean a staffed 24/7 help desk.

Are Microsoft 365, security tools, and backups included?

We identify the administration, tools, licenses, and backup or recovery services included in your plan, along with any separate subscriptions. We also agree on account access, billing, renewal ownership, and recovery responsibilities.

How is managed IT priced?

The quote reflects your users, devices, servers, locations, support coverage, and the condition of the environment. We distinguish recurring service charges from initial work, equipment, third-party subscriptions, and separate projects.

Can you help with a security incident?

Incident assessment and recovery assistance can be scoped to your environment. We agree on escalation contacts, responsibilities, and any specialist involvement. If you are dealing with an urgent issue now, call us to discuss the situation and available assistance.

Let’s make your IT responsibilities clear.

Tell us about your team, your current setup, and what needs attention. We’ll help identify the right IT support for your business.
